Patients & Visitors
At Lake Granbury Medical Center, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, parking instructions, transportation and more.

Visiting Policies & Hours
We believe that having loved ones nearby lifts spirits, brightens moods and improves healing. However, for everyone's safety, there are a few things to consider when coming by to say hello.
Waiting Rooms
Waiting areas are located at the main entrance of the facility, immediately outside of the entrance to Women’s Services, on the third floor MedSurg Unit and in the Emergency Department lobby.

Please call (817) 573-2273.
Critical Care Units
Visitors are limited to immediate family only and hours are limited based on the daily patient population conditions. For current conditions, please call (817) 573-2273.
Maternity
Family-friendly visiting hours. No children under 12 permitted except siblings of newborns.
The first hour after birth, known as the "Golden Hour," is a special time for baby and parents. This time is important for your baby's first feeding, as well as skin to skin contact and bonding. This time is reserved for you, your partner and your baby to get to know each other. Friends and family members do not participate in this special hour.
