Volunteer Opportunities
Lake Granbury Medical Center volunteers give the invaluable gift of time and assist in many areas of the hospital.
We offer a variety of service opportunities, such as:
- Greeting and assisting patients, families and visitors
- Delivering mail and flowers to patients
- Working in the gift shop
- Assisting in registration and waiting areas
- Assisting with special projects such as blood drives, health fairs and fund-raising
- Assisting with hospital tours and events
- Occasionally answering phones and assisting with light office duties
- Occasional running errands for units
- Assisting with volunteer newsletter
Many volunteers are also members of the Lake Granbury Medical Center Auxiliary. The Auxiliary provides assistance with educational programs, scholarships and non-revenue producing items at the medical center for the benefit of patients, families and the community at large. Combined, Auxiliary volunteers donate more than 1500 hours of service each month.
