Patient and Family Advisory Council
Patients and their families are often the most knowledgeable members of the care team and can provide valuable feedback about the care they receive. At Lake Granbury Medical Center, we are committed to partnering with patients, families and caregivers to improve the healthcare experience. One of the ways we do this is through our Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC).
What is a Patient and Family Advisory Council?
The Patient and Family Advisory Council consists of hospital staff, patients and caregivers.
During a PFAC meeting, a patient and family advisor might do the following:
- Share their healthcare experience with hospital staff and other PFAC participants
- Tell us what it is like to be a patient or guest in our facility
- Identify what we do exceptionally well
- Identify areas of concern or need
How Can I Join?
If you are a recent patient or the family member of someone who received care at Lake Granbury Medical Center, we invite you to attend a Patient and Family Advisory Council meeting. Your feedback helps us improve our programs, policies and patient-centered care. One person can make a difference!
