The Wound Center at Lake Granbury Medical Center Receives Two Awards

GRANBURY, TX—The Wound Center at Lake Granbury Medical Center is happy to announce that it has been honored with dual Center of Excellence Awards. The Clinical Distinction Award recognizes wound centers that demonstrate exceptional success by meeting or exceeding national healing benchmarks. The second award is the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award, presented to wound centers that demonstrate exceptional success by meeting or exceeding a national patient satisfaction benchmark of 96%.

Both awards acknowledge facilities that surpass clinical, operational and patient satisfaction standards.

“Our team’s dedication to providing exceptional wound care truly distinguishes our center,” said Brandy Montgomery, program director. “These awards reaffirm our commitment to enhancing patient well-being and maintaining a high standard of practice.”

The Wound Center was also recognized in February of this year as a “Wound Center of Excellence.” Fewer than ten percent of wound care centers nationwide receive this honor.

The Wound Center at Lake Granbury Medical Center specializes in managing chronic, non-healing wounds resulting from conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation, or the effects of burns and other injuries. The center takes a comprehensive approach to care, incorporating personalized treatment plans.
