Lake Granbury Medical Center Announces CEO Transition

Derrick Cuenca, Chief Executive Office of Lake Granbury Medical Center has accepted the CEO position at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His last day at Lake Granbury Medical Center will be June 8.

As CEO since 2013, Derrick has been effective in positioning our hospital and clinics for the future, most significantly, through recruitment of more than 30 primary and specialist physicians. Under his leadership, our community’s access to healthcare increased through the addition of a 40,000 square foot Medical Office Building, the addition of a 12-bed ICU, and a $7.5 million operating room expansion. The numbers of patients served by the hospital and clinics have increased immensely as a result of this work.

We appreciate all of Derrick’s contributions to our hospital and community and wish him much success in his new role. He will work with us over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
