Lake Granbury Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Primary Stroke Certification.
Lake Granbury Medical Center underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review by a team of Joint Commission reviewers to evaluate compliance with related certification standards.
Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients. The reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

“We congratulate Lake Granbury Medical Center for this outstanding achievement,” says Nancy Brown, chief executive officer of the American Stroke Association. “This certification reflects its commitment to providing the highest quality of care for stroke patients.”
“I am so proud of our team’s commitment to the care of stroke patients in our communities,” states Curt M. Junkins, CEO of Lake Granbury Medical Center. “Their continued dedication and love for the communities we serve is something we can all be proud of.”
