Why Choose Us
We know you have options when choosing a surgeon and hospital for your weight loss surgery. Here’s why we think our program is a great choice:
Quality
In 2018 and 2019, Lake Granbury Medical Center received the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) four-star rating for quality. In addition, in 2019, Lake Granbury Medical Center and its bariatric team received certification from The Joint Commission (TJC) for bariatric care. The bariatric program is accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
What does this mean?
Both organizations have strict, evidence-based requirements that must be met. Before receiving the four-star rating and the bariatric-specific certification, Lake Granbury Medical Center had to submit its quality data and policies for consideration and then each entity rigorously reviewed them to ensure the hospital and its physicians met each component to produce the best patient outcomes.
Efforts to achieve these milestones convey our commitment and ability to provide quality bariatric care.
